Help Angry Vibrate?

I have noticed that every once in a while, when I press a hard button on the Droid, the phone returns a very harsh vibrate. It's a longer duration and much "firmer" than normal haptic feedback. I can't identify any situation or combination of events to recreate it. It seems entirely random.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Yep. The haptic feedback seems to have an attitude. Sometimes it gives me very abrupt feedback, and other times I get the violent one that you're referring to. Never did bother me that much, I just pretend the phone has a personality. It is (as far as I can tell) completely random.

Yeah, I'm not worried about it at all, I just find it curious. Couldn't spot a pattern, and it seems that there may be a reason I couldn't spot one...

Thanks!

And it only seems to happen with the 4 capacitive buttons. It doesn't happen to the virtual keyboard if you have its haptic setting on.

Ha, I was going to make a thread about this very thing... but I decided to check what this Angry Vibrate was first. Pretty funny.. Glad it isn't just me though. The other day I got one that was so violent I thought a notification just didn't show up in the bar lol

This haptic feedback is very annoying, I have disabled mine and now would like it off the unlock screen as well. Is the any adjustment for the length of feedback you get?
