Animated Droid Eye

How can I put an animated droid eye on my droid for a wallpaper?

Ive got the live eye, just need to know how to make it a live wallpaper on the droid.

I'm pretty sure that Live Wallpapers are something like an app, and not some animated graphic that you can set, which is why you can only really get them from the Market.

Yes but with the 2.1 upgrade we have live wallpapers now, so I hope there is a way to put the eye in the same place. When I had the lg dare and chocolate touch and I was able to put live wallpapers in my pix folder and they worked from there.

Well, I'm no expert or anything, and I do undertsand where you're coming from as I used to own a Dare, but I am pretty sure, like I had said, it's not as simple as setting an animated graphic as wallpaper. Live Wallpapers is something that is of the Android programming API, hence we get them from the Market from devs. Use an app saver program to save an installed LWP and I bet it's an APK.

I'm pretty sure there's a red eye live wallpaper in the Market.

Have a look at those, they are the only ones I found in my quick search. And just a thought...download "AppBrain", it's fantastic and makes searching apps a breeze!
