put zip on sdcard
boot into recovery
MAKE A BACKUP
install zip from sdcard
reboot
NOTE: (ALLOW IMGS a chance to get started when phone boots )

I was doing more searching and found this ( http://forums.acsyndicate.net/showt...atus-Bar-ICS-Pulldown-Animation-for-ICS-4-0-3 ) it's for ics 4.0.3 we have 4.0.4 and plus this was for a different phone. Basically I was hoping someone more android savvy. Could try to get this for or phones.( Just the pull down animation)

can some compare the AndroidManifest.xml in the zip for this and see if theirs anything that we can edit to make this work. ive tried but im not sure if notepad++ is opening my xml files right (cant read anything at all when opend in notepad++) i mange to open the xml on my phone threw an xml app i didnt notice anything for the pulldown anamtion pngs. was hoping some one could take a look
 
need some one you can edit xml files correctly to give this coding a shot for are phone http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=20598732&postcount=2 to see if we can get this to work. ive tried to open the xml files my self but im doing somethign wrong

UPDATE:
I finally got a working apk tool to decompile. made the edits to the xml files and tried my new system ui apk unfortunately it kept crashing I'm gonna try few more things I have in mind to try to get this to work in the mourning...
 
i added the coding to are systemuiapk. and pngs like in the above link installed systemui and it keeps closing. so im posting a link with the systemui that i used in case someone has any other ideas..

IM NOT RESPONSBLE. FOR ANYTHING YOU DO TO YOUR PHONE.. AGAIN WHEN I USED THIS SYSTEMUI.apk systemui keeps crashing..

When you recompile apk are you signing it? If you are, that could be your issue. Its already signed as system app

Yes I did sign it.... But I don't think that was the issue. Cause I tried another system ui apk. Straight from my phone and added everything drag and drop on my pc and added back to the zip and installed(which I have done before changing a few pngs) . Still got the same thing when I booted up.

Think I might try the ginger bread way and see what happens...
 
I took the xml files that I needed straight from the zip and added them to to are system ui. I have no idea why this is not working. Is it possible for the png to be to big. Maybe if I resize the pngs for the animation
 
i got it working guys ill be posting a systemui soon, gotta tweak out a few things, ill also be posting diffrent systemui with diffrent animations..

I dunno how to make a flashable zip I message totlth just waiting on a response. I'm still learning android my self kinda stoked I got it working tho... Lol


I'll be posting two stock++ roms with animation in it. With two different animation. As soon as I get time. From work might be this weekend at the latest...
 
added a new animation this one uses less internal memory. also ill be adding diffrent colors purple,red,green..
 
What the zips? Or the images? I have bin playing around with the images. A Lil , if your talking bout the zips. The cwm zip is for any rom and the the other zip is for the stock++ rom
 
Gotcha. The 2nd and 3rd cwm zips seem to be the same. I've tried downloading twice but they both end.up looking like the 2nd animation.
 
, maybe I mixed um up when posting I'm gonna remove the stock+ zips and leave just cwm zip. I'll check um now

update: should be ok now, i had the links mixed up sorry guys, also removed the stock+ zips
so just install and enjoy.. if anyone wants any custom img pm with a link to the animation you would like,.....other colors should be up soon.
 
Actually I think I may have installed the stock+zip over top of my rom. Maybe that's what went wrong. Anyway I wiped the phone and did a fresh install of stock+zip #3 and its working great. Thanks for all of your hard work.
 
I have a question. Ever since I installed the slim+bluepulldown rom, my battery on the status bar shows 100% until it gets to 85%. Like its dropping in increments of 15. Do you know how to fix this?

I believe it was in 1% increments before this.
 
No i don't, but what rom were you using before I can take the system ui from that and take a look or even add the animation to it. I'm gonna guess it was one of dadcups roms?
