Anime/Manga not so ultimate otaku Lounge

Been enjoying Total Eclipse, giant robots story that doesn't follow the formula.

Blast of Tempest has gotten interesting, and Magi is still building.

I noticed that CR has a film series of The Legend of Condor Hero. The trailer looked great, so I'm going to check it out.

Edit - nope. Not worth it.

I signed up for Funimation after it came available on my Samsung bluray player. Watched 4 of the Hellsing OVA episodes and now I can't get on. I can't even log in on my computer to cancel the account! Been like this for over 3 days!

Tempest seems really good so far (on episode 3 atm) really looking forward to watching more.

And its great that loads of awesome shows are starting this month :

Outlaw Star was really good. Been watching Fullmetal Alchemist lately. Next after that? Buso Renkin. I think. Or Venus vs Virus

I started watching Hellsing Ultimate...haven't finished it yet but it seems like a disappointment compared to the original.

Watched Black Lagoon/Second Barrage on Blu-Ray! Very cool. The gun fights are so ridiculously over-the-top it is funny as hell. Some parts were a little violent...the scene at the end where the girl sticks a samurai sword through her throat was a bit much. Wouldn't recommend it for kids.

Crackle has seasons 1 and 4 of The Slayers. It helps a little to read up on the manga background but isn't a requirement.

Parts of season 1 have to go down as some of the funniest anime I've seen, some of the lines are just exquisite ("No, seriously, I've never heard anyone talk as much as you!").

I was instantly intrigued by Kurozuka, essentially a vampire story, but I'm only a few episodes in to it. The soundtrack, especially the opening song in the temple, is really very good.

And Hunter x Hunter - just seems to get better and better. I thought the latest arc was going to be a dead end story, and then the Phantom Troupe comes in, has the premise weaknesses just wired, and bam, it went right back up on top. Great stuff. :)

I probably need to backfill on a few other series I'd recommend, but now, back to Kurozuka.

It gets better, but it ends like there should be more.

Hey everyone I follow anime and manga when I have the time but here is what I follow
anime: Naruto, Fairy Tail, One Piece, Ghost in the shell, steins gate, Kenichi and DBZ.
Manga: Naruto, Fairy Tail, Onimusha and few others,

Are any of you watching Sasami-San@Ganbaranai or Maoyuu Maou Yuusha? They seem to be the best this season (excluding things that started in 2012 like JoJo and Psycho-Pass)
