Anime/Manga not so ultimate otaku Lounge

Ok.... I'm late to the party...

I've just upgraded my chromecast and so have discovered crunchyroll... What's a good recommendation for something to watch... Something with a few laughs... Not too bleak... And nothing with dragon balls in it?

Fresh Meat !!

Must Watch : Death Note , Samurai Champloo , FLCL .
Slice of life : Polar Bear Cafe , Danna S1 & S2 (I can't understand what my husband is saying)
Action : One Punch Man , Hunter X Hunter , Assassination Classroom
Spectacular Fights : Fate Zero & Fate Stay Night : Unlimited Blade Works.
I have too much time to kill : Naruto (not the Shippuden sequel.)
I have no life : One Piece(I think you can catch up in a year or two)

There are lot others but many of those are dark and really bleak...

/This season
I think I will marathon other animes at the end. Time constraints..
Might follow Sushi police though(4 minutes short).

Lot of good animes this season:
Active raid
Ajin
Assassination Classroom S2
Boku dake ga Inai Machi
Durarraraa : the Final Cour !!!!!!!!!!!
Fairy Tail Zero
Itachi Shinden

Rewatching Bleach :D

That's a big project EM!

I've been leaning towards watching myself but that's.... Commitment :) that's what, 500+ episodes? I gotta check and see if it's still going.

Edit- apparently the last time I checked was a long time ago, ended in 2012 haha. But still, 366 Eps plus movies is a lot. Wow. :)

Dunno if @Roze still lurks around this parts but I feel this news might interest her.

Also Hunter X Hunter manga is coming back. In case you feel the anime was full ending , the series is just around 50% over. My theory is that the second cour will have Ging chase his father.
And the nen is way out of league especially with Ging and Pariston. They both make Hisoka look as newbie...

Are those the new ones? I caught the first copy and have been waiting for them to queue up for a binge. :)
Yes. And there's three episodes, so far. Good story and some of the best animation that I've seen in a Gundam series. There's also Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, a regular Gundam series, that finished recently. Also worth checking out.

Whee! I haven't posted here in a bit....Howdy y'all :D

So, here's what I've been watching/finished watching....

Erased. Watched the first episode, dedicated the rest of my night to it. Holy CRAP was it amazing. And the ending was *gasp* GOOD! I was so blown away by it though. Seriously, it was amazing. I think everyone should give it a shot.

Ajin. Oh man. I need to catch up on the anime. I've seen a few episodes, and its awesome so far.

Twin Star Exorcists. It seems pretty good so far. Worth a watch, I'd say.

Kiznaiver. I saw a trailer for it, and I was like whoa. What? Their pain binds them? Interesting. Not bad at all.

Bungou Stray Dogs. It started off pretty silly, but some nice little plot twists thrown in here and there, and slowly developing a more serious tone. I thoroughly enjoyed the three episodes so far.

Need to finish The Asterisk War still, along with Iron Blood Orphan.

Rewatched Parasyte the Maxim. Its still easily one of my favorite series. A certain scene still just crushes me every time it happens. Avoiding spoilers, but I have a feeling if anyone watches it they can guess exactly what one I mean.

Two good action animes during this season are: Boku no Hero Academia and Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress. If you liked One-Punch Man and superheroes in general, you'll enjoy Boku. The latter series came from Wit Studio, whose responsible for Attack on Titan.
