Well I got my anker battery last night for my evo and it seems to be not working properly.... It says the temperature of the battery and phone is 77.1 ,but its been like for the whole day. I have been playing games and purposely trying to raise the temp ,but nothing. I know it will get hotter than 77.1 because you can feel it warming up after playing games for hours. I have restarted the phone multiple times removed the battery etc... ,but nothing. Can i fix this?

My 3500 mah battery also does this. I think these aftermarket batteries dont have a working temp sensor built in, unlike the stock HTC battery. I am not 100% on this though, But thats what I am thinking.

I have an Anker and it does report temps in Wifi Hotspot for Root Users app. I just tested it, cold it shows 27c, after a few minutes holding the battery on my palm it is showing 29c.

Where did you order your Anker? Maybe a fake?

I have the Seidio (Platinum) extended battery, and the temps are always shown for me. How are you checking the temps? Also, try installing Battery Monitor Widget, and see if that can display the temp.

I ordered it off of amazon... Its anker direct and the battery doesn't even have a battery temp.. Atleast thats what everyone is saying.

My two Chinese junk batteries I bought with a charger for $9.50 shipped off eBay show the temp. I checked several times today and the temp varied depending on use. Was showing 79.34F. Held in my hand for a minute and went up to 80.42F. Used a couple minutes. Now up to 82.4F. Using the Gauge Battery Widget to monitor.
