Help Annoying Gmail issue

Hey everyone.
Yesterday I put a new ROM on my phone, and since I did that there has been an issue with my Gmail.
So before I changed the rom, when I deleted an email from my inbox using the Gmail app, it would delete the email from the inbox on my pc (delete from server)
And after flashing the ROM, it won't do this.

I have tried putting the old ROM back on, but the issue is still there.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Could it be the version of the Gmail app?

The stock one works fine for me but as soon as I install the updates from the Market it fails to sync properly.
