Help Annoying keyboard problem. can i fix?

Hi, I have added the very cool voice to text feature in Lekky's guide, and have a new jeyboard.
However it now does something really annoying, which is whenever you select a word/letter from the suggested ones, it adds it and then makes a "space" afterwards, so if you are selecting single letters in predictive text mode, you have to press the back key every time. The old keyboard didn't do this.
Does anyone know how to set the keyboard up, to make sure that when selecting single letters or words from the predictive suggestions, that it doesn't automatically add a space afterwards?

I assume you're using the HTC IME Mod keyboard? If so-
Menu
Settings
Language & keyboard
HTC_IME mod settings
Text input (the second text input entry in the list)
Uncheck 'Insert spaces'

I have just rooted my desire to froyo with sence and im using the HTC_IME Mod and have noticed that if i turn the phone sideways to use the full screen keyboard the back space delete button doesnt work sometimes! I have to turn the phone back up and use the back space button then turn the phone back sideways. Any ideas folks?
