Help Annoying Message "Prevention Information"

In typical elliptical fashion Samsung said that update i “improved stability,” without going into anymore details. I got my info from Android Central so read that article and you should be able to track down where Samsung keeps that info on their webpage.

Hi everyone..
I created a id on this forum for help with a similar issue. Its left me pretty frustrated.

1) My phone has recently just started to drop its wifi connection.
2) When it disconnects an alert pops up with the "prevention information" as experienced by others here on this forum.
3) When trying to reconnect to my wifi signal again, it says "sign-in required" and after selecting a wifi connection, it jumps to my internet browser homepage with my wifi sucessfully connected... only to lose its connection again after 5 minutes. While all this is happening, a little wifi notification with a question stays on the whole time on the left hand corner.

I have tried all the advice suggested here. None of it worked. And then in my anger/frustration/stupidity.. i wiped out (reset) my phone forgetting all about my stored pictures from a weekend vacation with my family. So im at my wits end right now. My problem seems to be a little different than those experienced by others on this thread. Please help! My only next option is to bring it back for repair.

Hello!
I have the same problem with an italian Galaxy S4... So I suppose that the problem is not directly related with N3 or wireless operator.
The strange thing is that I have the problem from yesterday... But my device was running fine with 4.3 for the previous two weeks...
My SElinux version is 4.3_0010.

Hope it helps...

I picked up my Note 3 before and got the following message

"An application has been forced to stop for an unauthorized attempt to access system in your device. It may be safe to delete an application obtained from an unauthorized route. Check now?"

I panicked and did a factory reset as I didnt have many things on the phone anyways however when i set it back up after about 10 minutes the message reappeared. If you click check now it will take you to application manager. There was no apps under downloaded or SD card so i had a look what was running and the only one that looked suspicious is ELM Agent, does anyone know what it is and should i be worried? or has anyone else had a similar problem.

There is alsorts under the "All" tab but i noticed "wssyncmlnps" however theres probably others that ive missed that might look a bit weird shall we say.

Any help would be much appreciated :)

Thanks

I've got exactly the same problem also Elm Agent running. Also no new apps downloaded/installed
Any ideas on how to stop this would bemost apprciated

For those having this issue, I came across something that may help. In the Apps drawer is or should be a "Google Settings" app. All the settings in there pertain to different aspects of one's Google account. One such setting is "Verify apps". Clicking on it brings up a check box and a description that sounds very much like the problem people are having. So for those having this issue, is that box checked?

This app just turned up on my phone yesterday strangely enough and yes the verify apps is ticked so just about to untick it and see what happens

I'm running N9005XXUBMJ3 and this message started today
MJ6 for int'l, or MJ7 for Verizon is current. You might connect it to Kies on a desktop to see if anything more current than MJ3 is available. They often come through Kies before they are available OTA.

Cheers for that, just checked and OTA update downloading as I type

I started getting this message as well yesterday. I haven't installed anything that would lead to me thinking it was due to a specific app. It just started doing it on its own. When holding down on the notification and selecting info, it leads to Knox info, as others suggested. I cleared the cache, but it just popped up again. I have noticed that my wifi data connection on my phone is particularly slow(I have 50mbps up/5mbps down)...super slow in fact.
Annoying as hell!

Also, my phone is not rooted, and I have no security/antivirus apps.

Questions:
1. Do you have Titanium Backup installed?
2. Have you defrosted any app?
3. If the answer is YES, then you might need the TB Fix...

Simply execute this from the Terminal Emulator (an app at the Store):

[HIGH]su
restorecon -R -v /data/data[/HIGH]

This has to be done after every restore (or batch of restores).

I take no credit for this but it worked for me (I defrosted My Magazine to get rid of the email glitch).

Hope this helps :)

Ok I disabled I Ant app and uninsalled updates in ANT radio app. I unchecked the verrify app in google settings.
Just did a firware update and when the phone restarted the pop up came back. The phone downloaded the updates for ANT radio it also started to download a further firmware update. While the firware update was downlaoding I disabled ANT radio, when firmware updated no pop up so may be an ANT problem
