Annoying Phandroid pop-up

i'm getting this happening on my 3vo today. the biggest problem is trying to close the add. I even clicked on it because i want to help phandroid get paid and went back and can't close the damn thing. trying to hit that little x is impossible and when i try to stretch the page the x moves off the side.

i love chris, kevin, and quentyn's write ups but if this keeps happening i simply won't keep coming back.

i use dolphin browser, cookies are on, don't want another app
idea, can you at least set it so if we click it then closes as it takes us to the add page so when we come back to phandroid the add is gone?

+1 on this. This made the site completely useless on the mobile browser today. Can't log in. Can't click anything. Can't hit the "X" it'll just move.

It is getting worse and worse around here. Sometimes, I get an ad when come to the site - close it - then get an ad when go into a sub forum - close it - and then later get another when going into a thread - close it.

I have even had them when going from a sub forum into a thread.. 2 IN A ROW!!

I never, ever, ever, ever do or will click on any of the ads and use them. Ever. I get enough ads in my life.

Really sucks as it seems to be getting worse and worse :(
 
So do I. I believe they're only supposed to display once per device every couple weeks (which I still hated), and they'd been working fine until recently. I noticed this today or yesterday.

I'm getting them all the time, and it makes mobile use nearly impossible.

I'm making my round of complaints.
 
Amen to that. Makes me not want to come to the site on my phone.
 
Yea that's the bummer. Very tough to browse from phone.
I'll check back because I really like the site. I'm hoping we get a fix.

FYI I did find that a slight pinch out in landscape mode will help hit that little x
However if you pinch too far same issue off the screen it goes.
 
I got 4 today in 5 minutes! I went to 3 different sections on got one on each entry. Then, I went into a thread and immediately got one. So in about 5 clicks I got 4 ads!

30 days is fine, this is laughable.

ps - yes, I have cookies enabled.
 
Once a day would even be okay compared to every time i log on or select a thread. I wouldn't mind seeing it so much if i could just press the microscopic x. I think it has eyes and moves when it sees me about to press it

Rob is working with the ad network on this one (well, awaiting word back), right now. I just sent him your note, too.

I agree it is horribly annoying - and that's probably how he feels about ME at this point.
