Help Annoying 'Phone' Option!

Well, the problem I am having is that when I click 'Phone' on the homescreen, expecting it to go to my contacts, it takes me to ALL my contacts, including the ones that have their phone numbers on Facebook, I don't want them there, only the ones I have saved under contacts! How can I get it so the 'Phone' option on the homescreen goes to my 'Contacts' and not to ALL my contacts.

Also, I don't want to remove HTC Sense Facebook, or any Facebook for that matter, I want to link my contacts profiles to their Facebooks, I just dont want people in my contact list I dont even talk to and only have added on Facebook.

Thirdly, sorry if I have posted this in the wrong section, or this question has already been answered, if it has can somebody link me to the answer.

hmm...under contacts, menu, view, and deselect the facebook numbers?

They arent actually in my "Contacts" place, I don't know where they are. Its just when I click 'Phone', it gives me a screen with EVERYTHING on, simcard contacts, contacts saved on the phone, facebook contacts with their phone numbers on facebook, the screen has a numberpad pop up and "Enter name or number Tap to see smart dial tips" and a green call button at the bottom. I only want to be able to see my contacts saved to the phone and simcard when i click 'Phone'. How can i get rid of the Facebook contacts showing?
 
nope not sure how you'd do it without removing 'facebook for htc sense'....sorry.will dig around :)

So it's probably not possible for me to do it without removing Facebook for HTC Sense and losing photos and facebook status updates linked to my contacts?
 
I really either don't understand the problem or don't see one.

If you want to browse through contacts just get into People app, not the Phone app (yes, as weirdly as it sounds Phone on these devices is an app :P).

If you want to call someone you've called recently touch the Phone button on the bottom of the screen.

If the contacts are showing up in the Phone menu and not in the People app then there's no problem mate :) Just add a shortcut to your home page and you're sorted.
 
No, you do not have to remove facebook.

Just a sec....OK:

Go to APPS then PEOPLE then touch MENU key then touch VIEW then UNCHECK whichever lists you do not want displayed.
 
I too have this problem, have gone to view etc, and asked to view only my sim card contacts but when I go to phone at the botom of the phone the massive full list is still there, soooo annoying. Does anyone know what to do?
 
For that you log out of FB & online directory, go to sync options, and untick facebook htc sense, log back into FB.

Should be fine then.

Exactly the same problem as mine, am I right in saying the long list of Facebook contacts is in where you click "Phone" on the main screen and have a green "Call" button at the bottom? SO annoying that you can't link up only your contact list to HTC Sense Facebook and not have your whole Facebook contacts in your phone!
