Annoying Thunderbold Ad

I received a complaint from a loyal senior member saying that he had to close out of his browser because the Thunderbolt pop up ad didn't let him navigate. This happened several times. Reminds me of the Radio Shack ad incident.

I saw that ad yesterday in my Galaxy Tab, just once. I dumped Dolphin then went back in and it never showed up since.

I couldn't scroll around it, as it kept snapping itself to the center of the screen (tried both finger flicking and using the volume keys, which I have set up for scrolling in the browser).

Yeah, I saw it a few times too. Very annoying.

Here is a screenshot:

Unfortunately at work (where I have no add blocking in place) this seems to have become a bit of a trend. It is unfortunate and is really detrminetal to the member experience

You could probably do a search here under something like, "intrusive ads again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and get dozens of hits. ;) :D

I've been here 14 months now, and it appears to be an ongoing struggle, as Rob has posted from time to time.

This is the best device forum cluster I've ever seen, even with those things invading now and then. It is one of those little things that can bother users, though, especially newer ones who may have not yet been around enough to see how great the place is.

I believe I posted in some of those other threads too.

I dont care about the others, its my experience that is affected ;)

This popup add is driving me insane and I have complained about it multiple times. It is all I can do, and I will continue to do so.
