Root annoying

this morning my bionic was running an old theory rom from october or somesuch, based off 5.7.893. wanted to update to .902 for a newer rom, and need to get back to stock before doing so.

did a nandroid backup

loaded a nandroid backup from september that i thought was of stock, turns out it wasnt

decided to load the nandroid backup i just made, to have my phone usable for the time being (the way it was this morning) while i track down a copy of the stock build (seems many copies of it were hosted on megaupload)

problem is, upon restoring the backup that i made this morning, im now bootlooping. when i first got the phone i researched how to get out of a bootloop in the event i needed to, but that being a few months ago now im hazy on the details. ive managed to get into stock recovery but am unsure what to do from there.

and thats my situation. i'll likely figure this out on my own tonight, but i wont complain if somebody would point me in the right direction to save some time

update: worked it out myself. incase anyone else repeats my same situation, follow the instructions here 5.5.5.893 FXZ .901/.902 compatible and.902 update
