another 2.3 question

I have seen were some people have updated to 2.3 on the infuse.
I can not find this update anywhere and I have an accessory that needs 2.3 to download the app.
Kies mini tells me I'm up to date with 2.2.1
How are people updating their phones, is there directions somewhere?
 
Infuse 4G Android Development - xda-developers A lot of people have given up hope that att is going to give an update. Go to the link above and root the phone and put a custom rom of 2.3.6 on it yourself. Everyone who has done this has not regretted it, and loves it. Being able to customize your phone as you see fit without att bloatware is where it's at. I could never go back to a stock config at this point.

If you don't want to do this, then be prepared to stay with 2.2 for the life of the phone.

Well I already bought 120 dollars worth of bluetooth tv remotes that requir 2.3
So which tread on this fourm got the best directions?
 
Start at the Super Infuse Noobie Thread. I would then recommend either the Numasx, Zeus, or R3velation rom. I'm using the numasx rom and love it.
