I have been having this 3G issue since I got a replacement phone and sim from orange UK, basically I can rarely get on the 3G network, even though people around me can and they are also on orange, If I switch the prefered network mode from auto to WCDMA then it instantly switches to 3g. However the twist is that once I do that my signal bar completely drops and event though it comes back up I have problems receiving and sending calls and text. Worst of all even after I switch to WIFI with the WCDMA on I have problems receiving calls etc.
I thought I could live with constantly switching the WCDMA on and off but now its getting annoying, if anyone has any ideas It would be most appreciated.
