So I went to charge my phone last night before I went to bed and all seemed good. Was charging at the same rate as usual. It was about 65% when I went to sleep. I woke up in the middle of the night about 2 hours and saw the red charging light was still on. Thought it was odd as it should definitely be a green full charge light on by now but just went back to sleep.
I finally wake up for the day about 4 hours later and it's still red. Now I know something is wrong. And to top it off, the phone won't turn on at all. I have to pull the battery to get it to turn on.
Now the issue is I don't think it's giving me the correct battery stats. It stayed on 100% for a very long time. Way too long, especially since my battery drains faster than I like as of late. And my GSAM app does not seem to be reading the battery percentage correct, either.
At the top, it says 95%, so 5% of usage. Yet the app says only 2% use.
Anyone every have this quirky issue? I can deal with a battery that drains fast. As long as the battery stats are accurate. What I can't deal with is faulty stats and inaccurate reading of how much percentage is left because then you never have any idea when the phone will actually die.
