Root Another Dumb Noob Root Question: Camera Folder

Shurple

Android Enthusiast
I did not delete the CAMERA Folder from my phone but it has disappeared! (along with a ton of other apps but they dont fit on the phone memory directly so they go to the partitioned section). Anyway WHERE is my camera folder? I can take pics and share them but once I close out of the camera app, I cannot retrieve my pictures.

Thanks!

/sdcard(-ext?)/DCIM/Camera

At least they should be here. Depending upon what you chose in the camera app, this will determine internal or external SD. Wtf do you keep doing that you lose .apk's, folders, etc.?

Nothing! The only thing i actually did was delete the browser not realizing that other apps cant be shortcuts to specific sites on my homescreen without it.

This tho, nothing! I moved photos from one folder to another in QuikPic (gallery) and it deleted the folder when it no longer had files in it. It never did that b4! I don't mess with the phone.

Edit... k folder is back! Ty!

Omg it did it again! I moved pictures and it deleted the folder. I took a random pic to see if it would show again and no it didn't!

Are you just hiding the folder from QuickPic or actually deleting it from the SD card? You can hide folders from QP.

i have it set right now to show all folders and it just won't

I made sure there were no exclusions and made sure it scans all folders. it REFUSES to see the camera app.

SO this Quick Pic app is going bye bye.

Heehee. Dunno but I fixed it lol. Uninstalled and reinstalled. I wont clear that folder lol!
