Another Firmware Update?

My wife got a firmware update this morning on her SGS3 which puts her on version L710VPLI3. Anyone know what this update is all about? It's not JB since the phone is still showing 4.0.4. Also, my SGS3 did not get the same update. I'm still on L710VPLG8.

Edit: sorry I'm on Sprint and I live in the US.

I received an update as well, I am in the US of A, vermont... I have no clue what it was for, booting up now.

He's on sprint. My buddy at work just got this update too. It mainly focused on better LTE connectivity.

So I found the following information online about todays update:

• Inclusion of SWYPE keyboard
• Improved LTE connectivity
• SMS Messaging improvements
• EAS sync improvements

This update started rolling out on September 19th and i still have not received it either here in California, so this is definitely a very slow rollout.
