Yes, it is a lot to expect that when I pay $200 a month for a service, the service actually works. If this happened with any other service I have, there would be a refund issued for downtime (just ask; TV, internet, home phone, etc). They advertize 99.9% up time and if they are at fault for you losing service, they'll give you some $ for the inconvenience. Cell phone providers dont care, and consumers have come to accept their $*** as the norm. They dont even have to give you working equipment anymore, they wash their hands of you after your contract has been signed. The unfortunate part of this is that society has turned to the point where cell phones are a must. Many jobs are requiring an immediate method of contacting you now, regardless of where you are, so home phone service doesnt cut it.
It'd be more than a dollar, Verizon doesnt do it anyways, really good companies will issue a credit without you requesting it, and if it happens more than twice a month, I've had companies give me a free month. It's called good customer service.Call in and get your dollar credit then.
I lose 3G all the time, pretty frustrating when I NEED the browser or I try to send a GTalk message.
It was more than just a 4g outage. Data was entirely gone for quite a few hours. Just setting the record straight...
