Help Another Hotspot question

I own an Epic and I am thinking about buying the Hotspot service from Sprint. I have a question regarding this service:

Should I be able to

• connect wirelessly to a computer (with wireless ability) and
• allow that computer to access the web wirelessly

. . . with no (other) WiFi network present?

Yes and yes. A friend of mine uses this service at her house as her primary internet connection for her laptop. A little pricey, but it saves her from having an internet connection bill.
