I picked this because it could be used with free super-saver shipping, and I had a couple other things that were shy of the $25 limit. Apparently there is a Samsung-branded one that would have worked too:

Who knew...

Anyway, the one I got works fine. It is only 720p, but I am guessing that is all the GNex displays? That's the native resolution on it, so it makes sense.

I'll also just add, MHL sucks. I need to carry three cables: MHL adapter, power cord, and HDMI cable. On my Triumph, it has micro-HDMI out, so you just need the micro-HDMI cable. I bought a few official Moto cables for $4 each, and keep one at home, one in the car, etc. Very simple and convenient. And there is no order to the way I have to plug it in for it to work.

Thanks for sharing. I just ordered one for 13.95 delivered with Prime. And it will be here on Friday in time for my vacation.

Thanks for your sharing. I purchased a TT-AC01 mhl adapter from amazon. It just cost me $12.99. This small gadget works well. With usb port i can charge it when i playing games or watching movie from it on the big screen. A great deal.
