I have a Fascinate (VZ) running on Page Plus and wanted to root in order to upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich using the following procedure:
1. Install Odin(v1.3) and Clockwork Mod (cwm4 fixed for cm7).
2. Put ICS from Team Hacksung and gapps file 20120429 on SD card.
I am able to use Odin and put the phone into download mode how ever when I select PDA in Odin to open the cwm4 file is does not locate the file. Most likely because I think Odin is looking for a .tar extension and the cwm4 is a .bin. I'm sure there is an obvious solution but not for me. I have no idea if the phone can locate the ICS and gapps files since I did not get that far. Can anyone offer a suggestion?
