Root another noob in need of assistance

Well, after poring over the root guides, I decided to go ahead and do it. I am on frg01b. I used the noob way, Easy Root, and everything went fine. Installed Titanium BU*root, busybox, then Rom Manager. Flashed Clockworkmod Recovery, fixed permissions. Dl'd chevys rom then went to recovery via x+power.
Trouble i am having is that in recovery, the only options I have are
reboot
apply update via SD
and the various wipe this wipe that options.
There isn't any nandroid option.
I tried to flash to sprecovery then back to clockworkmod but no change. Am I doing something wrong or did I miss something somewhere?

Similar to the same issue I'm having. Except I no longer get that recovery screen. The only screen I get is the Boot screen, but keeps saying it can't cause battery too low. I have charged it for over 2 hrs and still says the same thing.

ok so I tried flashing sprecovery again then back to clockworkmod recovery, rebooted into recovery and it seemed to work. Making a nandroid backup now
