So yesterday I finally convinced a friend of mine to go with HTC Incredible instead of the new iPhone. The order is in and it's a done deal! She had been going back and forth on the issue for some time now and after several "test drives" using my DInc, she finally decided it was a better fit for her compared to the iPhone.

If it wasn't for the guys and gals of this forum I would not have had the knowledge or know-how to explain to her what the major benefits of the DInc were. You guys/gals are awesome!
 
I have a friend on the edge too but more so on the edge of the iPhone fence, trying to get her to get a DInc, but she lives 6 hrs away, hard to let her play with mine, lol...i know that's what she said haha
 
My father called this morning. He has an ancient flip phone and is looking for something with a touch screen. He called saying he wanted an iphone, but since he doesn't want to switch carriers that was a non-starter. I almost have him talked into an incredible, but he wants to look a bit more at the Droid X. Either way he's avoiding a trip into the apple cult.
 
Awesome! I convinced my boyfriend to come over to Android (he got an Ally because he didn't want to wait a month for the Incredible) and his best friend is considering either the Incredible or the X :)

My boyfriend said they laughed at him in the VZW shop when he asked for the Incredible..
 
I actually went and gave a friend of mine my upgrade so he could get a Droid x today, I already have the incredible so I didn't mind. It kept him from getting an iphone, so it worked out well.
 
lol my Droid X buddies will beg to differ

I am about to sound really really superficial so dom't judge me too harshly

but i hate the camera. it takes beautiful pics of scenery but my self portraits are grainy and blurry

Now i will say, I have had QUITE A FEW ISSUES with HTC and i have yet to have anything major happen yet with my X

but the Incredible's Camera was ideal for self portraits for me anyway...i just hated how it made scenery look oversaturated
 
You guys are chumps...I convinced my friend to switch from a iPhone to a Dinc when his contract wasn't even up. He cancelled MIDWAY through his AT&T contract.

Beat that, suckas!
