Help Another problem with the Desire.

Sometimes when I remove the battery or just simply drop it accidently then the battery falls out. It always resets my time & date. Always gets set in January 1980, when this happens I can't do anything with the phone when I try to use my WI-FI or 3G.

Is there a fix for this? Or am I gonna have to send the phone back yet again.

if you go to settings>date and time> you find a box that lets you get the time from your operator. Have you checked this?
