I previously thought I had a sim pin issue causing the random reboots, came to find out that the sim pin issue is not the real issue, it's a rebooting issue "first", the sim pin is just an innocent by-stander that proves the phone had rebooted at some point.
I've done factory resets, battery pulls already, 100% stock firmware with UVLDE update.
Since the SD card has been reported to be the cause of the issue, I removed it and formatted it on my PC(it had tons of apps from my Vibrant S on it) - result: no good as it rebooted WITHOUT the card in it.
Right how I'm thinking it may have something to do with the NFC feature(near field communication). Why? Well I work very close to some business grade telecommunication equipment(wireless routers, tele-gateways, etc). I'm starting to think that the NFC feature may be the cause of the reboot therefore I've kept the phone home, without sim card, and without SD card since Monday 06-04-2012 and it hasn't rebooted as of yet(almost 1 whole week).
Does that make sense to anyone? Would NFC really be the issue? Is the NFC installed inside the battery or the phone? I'm thinking of getting a new OEM battery.
I really do not want to send it to Samsung as I've read that at times they haven't resolved the issue, plus i'll have to spend another $25 on another screen protector.
