I don't really know anything about SD partioning except what I have read here. My question is by convincing the phone that it has more internal memory(RAM?) Does it increase speed. And if anyone has any cool links about partioning that'd nr cool too.thanks!

I think internal memory and RAM are 2 different things and I don't believe it will speed up your phone...maybe someone else here can confirm this.
There are links on partitioning and I will post them if/when I find them.:)
Edit: heres one that I know of on another site http://themikmik.com/showthread.php?5669-GUIDE-TUTORIAL-Apps2SD-Guide
I know there is one on this site but I'll find it unless someone else knows quicker than I do.

Partitioning does not increase speed in itself, but it can keep the phone from being bogged down with no internal memory.

If you are rooted and want to increase performance a custom ROM/kernel or overclocking is your best bet.

Partitioning is used to keep the phone from running out of internal memory

It won't speed up your phone per say but it allows you to have more apps installed. You need at least a class 6 card to avoid any lag issues though my wife's is the 8gb class 2 that came with the phone and it doesn't seem to have any lag problems using a2sd. Partitioning will allow you to move your cache to the sd-ext partition on your card which will open up internal memory. This will keep your phone from slowing down due to low memory.

k, well I have plenty of internal mem so probably won't bother with that. I am running the latest miui ics who the mason .14 kernel with SBC hwa fso. I am kind of scared of overclocking.I'm undercloccked to 128 on my minimium. Do u feel overcloking is safe and if so how much?

Overclocking is safe, so long as you dont overclock too much. In the event that you do, your phone will just go into a bootloop.

1113Mhz is a stable max for most people
