Root another unrooting question

I did a search on unrooting, but didn't find an answer to this. I got a good deal on an Incredible($200) so I'm going the VZW trade-in route for $132 for my Eris. I need to unroot it and return it to stock 2.1. I know there are some 2.1 ROMs to flash, but if I took a NAND backup before I rooted and flashed to XtrSENSE, can I just boot into that backup? Or is there more to it than that?

you can,but you are still rooted as is obvious by the "superuser" app in your app drawer. you could prolly send your phone in with a stock rom and no one would ever notice,or you could try this:
