Help Another way to switch on (Stock)

Is there anyway to turn my phone on by using anything ither than the power button on stock android.

I am asking this as my power button is suspected to be faulty as it wont switch on.

HTC give 2 years' warranty cover on Desires, so you should still be in cover unless it's been opened, visibly damaged or exposed to moisture. So for a hardware problem I'd suggest talking to them.

I have opened it up so warranty is void.
I have managed to get the phone on using the usb hack, but power button is stil not working, guess i will have to order a new flexi cable
