Anroid texting

[ladywackoe13]

hi guys. I have an Anroid phone.. The samsung intercept. I try tp send a text to the numbers that readio stations and different TV's tell you to text to so you can win things. when i send a text to that number i get a reply that says "Message failed. Shortcode may have expired or shortcut texting may be block on your account" How do I change that so i can send a text to 515151.
Thanks guys

Try using a SMS app like Go SMS or Handcent. Or go all out and try Google Voice, although GV hijacks your voicemail, too.

Google Voice doesn't support short codes so that won't work. Also, GV doesn't "hijack" your voicemail unless you tell it to.

Try alternate SMS apps. If that doesn't work, you may have to call your carrier.
