What anti-virus/anti-malware app. are you running if any ? Please post the name of your app. and the reason prefer it . Thank you .

Lookout. I dont really use the antivirus or backup features. I just have it loaded for the gps tracking.

Thanks . I used Lookout for that but found that SeekDroid is a lot more accurate when it comes to pinpointing your location . It actually shows me what area of the house I'm in . (front or back) . I tried AVG and it's locator was way off too .

I had problems everytime I installed SeekDroid. For some reason it would act jittery and unresponsive.

Lookout wouldnt let me install it on the phone because I already had it on two other devices.

So I went with ESET Mobile Security. So far no problems.

I tried AVG but it kept running in the background even though I didn't have it set to scan.
I had Lookout on my Berry so I am trying that right now. I don't use any of them for the virus things as I only download from the market (but I figure good to have just incase). I use them for the phone locator.

Get Webroot and call it quits. I have tried all of the above and have found that it idles to high even in a non-rooted phone. I stripped the guts of my phone and only have DroidWall, Webroot, Memory Task Cleaner and Wireless Tether and averageing 120-148MB of memory usage.

With the other antivirus and malware protection, it ranked to 152-167MB.
