Root Antivirus question

So my phone is rooted and I want to know if when I run an antivirus will it show my root or apps as viruses if they have superuser permissions? Because when I run antivirus it shows several viruses. If I clean them idk what it will do. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks. And when I say several I mean like 50 to 100 files show infections. Gmail is cjohns8792 if anyone would like to help me through it with gmail thanks.

It was an app called antivirus free. It had a little pill symbol for its piccture. Lookout found 1 virus called autoloader which loads when connected to pc. I removed I removed the culprit but antivirus free still shows several others while lookout is finding none right now.

Truly, why are you even using an antivirus?? Unless you watch porn 24/7 on your phone you should be pretty safe =/

+1 curious why you would use an antivirus on android? How many viruses even exist that run on the android os?

There are only one or two viruses that exist on the Android platform. These viruses are only triggered by devious SMS messages, so an AntiVirus app is simply not needed.

Its a good thing I used lookout because without it I would not have found the file which was going to run when I plug my phone into my computer usb.

It never showed when I originally got the phone a month ago. So it wasn't something on there before. I would think lookout would find it on everyones phone and not just mine if it were for usb debugging

Do you mind citing a reference? I'm sure there are other malware and viruses out made for android os than just two. Considering I found one which did not come through an sms
