Its a little bit unnerving that there is a possibility of this stuff happening but it is unlikely though.

I really wouldn't call it unlikely. Hopefully someone will come out with a sniffer for the droid so we can see where our info is going.

Don't get me wrong. I am still going to use the apps that I want to use, but that doesn't mean that I won't question what they are actually doing either. But until there is an app that can monitor traffic we are really running around without real protection.

I have Droid Security antivirus on my droid, not sure if its really helping or actually doing something bad, but so far its been clean.
