ants in my pants!

I'm so restless! Of course, now that I've decided to jump from the Apple ship and into Evo waters, there's nary an Evo to be had. I can't wait for Sprint to get these in stock. Every single Sprint store in NYC is sold out. And I don't want to go to BB or RS because then I can't get Sprint's insurance. I know that no one here knows when more units will become available. But I just needed to vent to a community of others who might know how it feels to get that itch for a new gadget.

Buh-bye Jobs! Hello Android!

Buh-bye Jobs! Hello Android!

I'm proud of you brotha' :)

I had to make a similar jump to the Nexus One and I will never touch an apple product again! Main reason was because Apple blocked Google Voice while Google brought out free turn by turn navigation for its customers instead of blocking it like Apple did :)

If you live in a non 4g area you might wanna take a peek at the droid x before you jump the gun!

No, that phone is butt ugly all around. And the EVO is a better investment for your 2year contract. With the DX next year you'll be stuck when and if VZ starts rolling out LTE.

Thanks. But I'm your sista'. :)

Glad you know his tastes.

YouTube - Droid X benchmark tests

From displaying 24 bit (evo 16 bit), no FPS cap (evo 30 fps), and a better processor and GPU if you like to game on your phone the Droid X is a no brainer. oh and better battery life.

Cost more $$ per month, HTC is removing the 30 fps cap, and if you wanna game buy a PSP. No one buys a phone to play games and if they do OMG I pitty them. Oh, and did I say "NO 4g for DX" ever.

^ Source?

And you have no Idea where this person lives either, could be no 4g EVER in their location. And the whole "if you wanna play a game buy a dedicated game player" thing is dumb. if you wanna check your email browse internet buy a laptop? These phones are meant to reduces the amount of devices you need to carry.

No, what's dumb is paying a smart phone fee "normally $30" for 24 months $720 and even consider gaming as a deciding factor. I'm not saying it's not a factor for some, but come on buy a psp for $250 and invest the rest.

Best I got on the Firmware update to remove the 30fps limit.

It's late on Friday I can't reply to anymore of your post on this.

Sure you can! I got my EVO last week at BestBuy... the next day I went to the local sprint store and had my phone numbers transfered from my new phone and added sprints $7/mo insurance to my plan. My friend did the same thing with her EVO she got at TheShack.

Or you can just call up Sprint and do it on the phone.

Believe it or not, Evo plays games very nicely too.
