Root Any 2.2 Bloat free roms?

You could just root and use Titanium backup to remove the bloat.

Just curious, Why 2.2.2? When there are bloat free 2.3.7 and 4.0.3 ones?
Ive gotten used to 2.2.2 and like it. I'm all for updates and stuff. i suppose i would use a good version of 2.3.
I just wanna run it as streamline as possible. I dont wanna loose any functions just bloat.
Any Suggestions that would keep it operating as an AT&T device.
As far as root and use titanium. Id rather flash and not INSTALL something to remove something
just on a side note i havent picked up the phone yet. gonna grab it friday. Im just doing my research

As far as what comes from the actual google android project, 2.2 froyo and 2.3 gingerbread are virtually the same to us the end user with gingerbread having simply a new battery use page and I think better sleep state battery efficiency. Also better app compatibility, a lot of apps like netflix require gingerbread.
HTC's version of 2.2 and 2.3 might be a bit different, it's been a while since I've used those.
I'm going to have to agree with you on flashing a rom and not using titanium to de-bloat for a second reason: if you de-bloat a stock rom with TB you likely still have the bits leftover that check for OTA updates. Not likely the inspire will be getting any more of those but if an OTA does come and you've removed anything from the stock rom it can hose things up.
Look in the android development section of the inspire and desire hd forums on xda forums. There are completely stock roms that have bloat removed and should have the ota stuff removed too.
Or..."streamlined" is a word you used, check out cyanogenmod 7.1 stable. It's awesome with dozens and dozens of hidden little features. It doesn't have the htc sense overlay so it may look ugly to you at 1st (will look like a nexus s for the most part) coming from an htc rom until you customize cyanogen with a launcher theme + more if you want.
