Root Any app to stop Wi-Fi from turning itself on?

I don't know why it does this, but it's starting to really bother me. Tying to do something and suddenly goes to a different screen asking me to configure a hotspot. I don't use Wi-Fi and I can't find an in-phone option of ending this

Turn off connection optimizer? Settings then under wireless networks then click more then click on connections optimizer and then turn it off.

Nope, that keeps turning itself on too. Is that safe to uninstall with titan backup?

Just disable it with titanium backup

I've noticed the same annoying issue all along since I've owned my Volt! Sux but I just keep shutting my WiFi down & it usually stays off for a bit!

The thing with connections optimizer is that it defaults to on every time you open it.

I'm having an issue that seems to be related to it as well... Sometimes when I go into an area without 4G, then go back, it gets stuck in 3G until I reboot. :/

Hopefully this update that has been mentioned will address these issues.

I guess you could always flag the bloat free standard os. Should get all the apps that that are auto running out.
