Any application to wake up screen ?

Looks like the phone Power On button can go faulty soon.

Is there any workable application that can wake the screen up when
the screen is tapped or the phone shaken or flipped...I mean using the
phone's proximity or accelerometer sensors ?

I tried a few but none of them works on the LG Optimus 2X ( P990) . I am forced to use the Power ON button to wake the screen up from sleep mode.
