Any difficulties pairing after root?

I am wondering if anyone has experienced difficulties pairing the Samsung Gear 2 after having it rooted. I have decided to unroot my GS4 so I can get the benefits of being able to pair it with my Gear 2. My Gear 2 is also rooted, so not sure it can be done.

By_design,

I wouldn't think that rooting would have anything at all to do with your ability to (bluetooth?) pair (and would be very, very surprised if it did or does).

The root components / binaries don't in and of themselves inject or interject with other components--they are invoked / referenced on behalf of the calling processes / apps which must get permission (via the Superuser / SuperSU app) before they can actually do anything.

Not sure what else could be the issue, but pretty sure it would not be the fact that your device is rooted.

Hope that helps a bit!
