Any feature/guestures people may not know about?

I thought I heard something like you can swipe your finger on top screen to adjust brightness if that's true and if you hold and swipe the s pen up it opens menu. Is there other stuff that are not well known?

Adjust Brightness - from any home screen; swipe your finger across the status bar that will adjust the brightness. Swiping from left to right increases brightness and right to left decreases brightness. Pretty cool!

Pause music - haven't tried this personally and at work now so can't test it out. But I've seen it on youtube. If music is playing place your hand over the phone to pause the music.

Screen capture - again haven't tested it but just to point you in the direction. Can probably find details by googling. But there is a way to do a screen capture by swiping your hand across the screen.

Tried hand over music pause -- didn't work.

Screenshot can be done with the S pen or by pressing power and home at same time.

When i first got my phone the music pause/stop feature worked for me when I turned it over face down, but no longer does - assume I turned it off while fiddling with settings.

yeah if you swipe just the side of your hand (pinkyside) as if your dusting something of a table. you can ttrigger the screen capture its kinda hard to do but does work i notice the faster the better it will have a chance to do the action. imo not very practical but cool.

I've always hated that when i display the notification panel by swiping down on the status bar, that i would have to reach all the way to the bottom of the screen to swipe up and close the panel.

Just realized that if you long press the status bar (when the notification panel is showing) it will close the panel.

Thanks, for as long as i've owned androids - this trick i never picked up.

Just thought I'd point out too that i use dolphin browser which supports gestures. For instance drawing a circle on a web page will refresh the page and drawing a less than symbol is equivalent to pressing the back button.

Little things like this make one handed operations alot easier.

Doesn't work for me at all. I can just flick down with index finger, then flick up with thumb. Works ok.
