My SF is just over 4 months old and I'm having issues with the responsiveness of the screen. I'm running the Swedish Spring RLS5 rom and I'm trying to get it back to it's factory settings to send it back to Orange.

When I power it on while holding volume+, it just continues to power on. I can enter Clockwork Mod Recovery v3.0.0.6 but if I try to install a new rom I get this error message

Amend scripting (update-script) is no longer supported.
Amend scripting was deprecated by Google in Android 1.5
It was necessary to remove it when upgrading to the Clockwork Mod 3.0 Gingerbread based recovery.
Please switch to Edify scripting (update-script and update-binary) to create working update zip packages

I have absolutely no idea how to get around this, or how to fix it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and in the simplest terms possible as I am easily confused by these things.
 
wow i have no idea m8 soz. but good luck getting a replacement from orange. ive heard theyr total arseholes at replacing sf's. maybe try installing a difrent version of clockwork but im daft so wait for someone else to reply. good luck :-)

You need to flash a newer scripted ROM
