any Hockey fans?

Bruins are going to win the cup this year. Tim Thomas is doing amazing this year and this is tyler seguins first playoff series and in his first game he scored a goal and got an assist and in his second game he scored 2 goals and got 2 assists. He's going to be a star for sure once he has some more experience.

Wow Vancouver is embarrassing sharks.

Not really. More like embarrassing themselves. STUPID penalties, terrible passing and for the most part only a few people showed up. I expected them to drop the first two, just not like that. Imo its better to lose badly than close ones that don't really show you the bad things you're doing. Still going with the Sharks in six

It think it was Cooke on Savard that started the change. Crosby's hit gets the publicity since he is the league's biggest star.

On another note, how about Tyler Seguin? He gets a goal in his first ever playoff game and gets 4 points tonight as Boston beats Tampa Bay in a wild 6-5 game.

I doubt boston will win the series , i mean the lightning scored 10 goals against amazing tim thomas in two games!

This was another solid 60 minutes by the Canucks. It seems like again, Luongo, our highest paid player, was the worse player on the ice. Still, the Canucks were able to pull out a win after the Sharks scored to tie it at 2-2 on what I thought was another weak goal by Luongo. He did his beached whale impression again. Looking at the play all game long, it seemed inevitable that the Canucks would win. They had the puck practically the whole time. San Jose just wasn't able to gain the offensive zone. The Canucks' speed seemed too much for San Jose to handle.

I was very surprised that the Sharks did not play better. Disappointed, actually even though I'm a Canucks fan. The Sharks seemed to play worse than game 1. They had the 2-day rest in between games, so should have gotten some good rest. They had a good start with some good hits to start off the game. They had pretty good speed in the beginning and was 2 for 2 on the power play.

My hat's off to Marleau in trying to inspire his team. He took on a really tough player in Bieksa, but hung in there. I didn't think it was wise for Bieksa to fight and it meant he was gone for 5 minutes. I guess taking Marleau with him was a decent trade.

Eager tried to get under the Canucks' skin to get them off their game, but ended up hurting his team with undisciplined play. The Canucks didn't score on the boarding play, but did on his next penalty which was a trip. I thought Daniel turned his back on him when he lost the puck in his skates on the boarding call. That was still a scary hit. I'd rather him not take the hit and not get the power play. I'm glad Daniel got back up pretty fast. Eager was challenging the Canucks while he sat in the penalty box and later in the third, Vigneault put the Sedins on the ice against him with last change. The Canucks owned the puck that whole shift and scored. I think Vigneault was sending a message to Eager that the Canucks will happy score on him if McLellan puts him out.

As for Bieksa, I cannot recall the last time I saw a defenceman get a clean breakaway. Good for Bieksa for getting the Gordie Howe hat trick.

I didn't think Vancouver's third line of Lapierre, Hansen and Torres could repeat the good performance they had in game 1, but they did. They got a goal, controlled the puck, played physical and got a goal.

As the series heads back to San Jose, I have to think that the Sharks will play better at home. They played pretty well in the first half of games 1 and 2, but tailed off in the second period. In contrast, the Canucks played well for a full 60-minutes. They Sharks are not going to last much longer by only playing half a game.

I wasn't too happy with games 4 and 5 in the Canucks' first round series. I was much happier with game 6 even though they lost a close one. I just want my team to show up and play well all the way down the roster. The results will take care of themselves.

Still going with the Sharks in six

I admire your faith.

^^ snap some shots!! i love fan pics from inside the arena. captures the sport from fans perspective, not some $4,000 lens that fans don't actually feel.

Couver v SJ is looking to a decent series. these games aren't fly by's for either team and its pretty cool to see the teams shortcomings that are pretty blatant.

the balls to take on Bieska by Mr. Invisible. not the best move, but shows how bad the Sharks needed a spark!

i'm happy with the series so far. looks to finish good.

Im going to bolts game 3 rows behind ice center

Hoping for bolts win

As someone who is from the Tampa area and had season tickets for 7 years or so, game 3 was very disappointing. The game reminded me of games back when they first played at the Ice Palace and tickets were 3 dollars each and there were only 300 fans there (200 of which were there for the opposing team).

Hopefully they can get it turned around!

I didn't get to see much of the game as I was out most of the time. Was at the mall and every time I passed by a TV, the Canucks were in the penalty box. Was in transit during the second. Caught part of the third. Nice five-hole pass by Henrik to Burrows on the 2-on-1. I have never seen a pass through the five hole of a goalie like that before.

It looks like the Canucks were able to do in game 4 what they failed to do in game 3. That was kill off penalties and score 5-on-3. The was the difference between the Sharks winning in game 3 and the Canucks winning in game 4.

This series is taking a toll on both teams in terms of injuries. The Canucks lost 2 defencemen including their highest scoring defencemen in game 3. Joe Thornton left the game in game 4. Hopefully the Canucks can finish off the Sharks next game and get some rest before the finals. Back in round 1, the Chicago managed to extend the series and it costs the Canucks some health. Henrik appeared to be injured and Salo was lost for a few games.

Just a comment about the referees in general. Different refs call the game differently. I prefer the guys who called Game 7 of the Vancouver-Chicago series. I believe Koharski was one of them. They let the players play and call things pretty loose. All of the calls in that game against both teams I agreed with. I also liked how they did not call anything marginal where players are battling. The non-calls on two slashes (one by each team) that broke sticks were not called and I like that. Penalties were called when a guy got beat and tried to hook or hold to regain position. I didn't see game 4, but game 3 was called much more tightly. I didn't think the reffing was unfair. It was just too tight for my liking. In any case, the players have to understand how each pair of refs call the game and play accordingly. The reffing seem consistent throughout the game whether they call it loose or tight.

Just because Tim Thomas lets in a bunch of goals one game in the series doesn't make him bad. Yeah it sounds bad when you put it like that but when you add in the fact that Roloson let in 8 goals in 2 games then it doesn't look as bad. And the Bruins shut the Lightning out 2-0, I have yet to see the Lightning shutout the Bruins. And by the way it wasn't 10 goals he let in it was 9 (empty net goal you were counting), so pretty much Roloson and Thomas have done the same considering they both have only let in 13 goals this series. So if you want to compare goalies I would say thomas is better since they both have let in only 13 goals but Thomas has had a shutout and Roloson was pulled twice this series so he probably would have got scored on more. That's why smith is playing in net tonight.
