Can i say first off i have had my S2 now for a month and love it. I had a galaxy s beforehand and thought it was excellent. Had to use it for some reason last night and it just showed how much better the S2 is.
Anyway, i have only a couple of minor quibbles with it so thought that it would be worthwhile starting a thread listing these so that anyone with similar problems can hopefully get them resolved and possibly add their own issues to.
So far i have found.
1. On my previous galaxy s, i could load a web page, double tap screen to zoom in, i could also use pinch and zoom to zoom in further, then if it was text i could double tap the screen and the text selection would zoom to fill the page, really handy for reading newsprint. On my S2 however, if i pinch and zoom and then double tap screen, it returns to the original small text. it seems to offer only an option to zoom in, then to zoom out, no resizing after pinch to zoom. Has anyone noticed this with their phone, i have my default zoom set to close.
2. When entering a lengthy search item into the internet google home page, it runs off screen so i cannot see the end of my search, makes it difficult to ensure right words typed or to make changes.
3. Have 2 bluetooth in car hands free kits. Cant get them to connect and work properly. On several previous phones i could press the call button on the hands free device and it would give option to voice dial. Now i have voice talk starting up but pressing call button does nothing. I either have to press button on phone screen or set phone to wake up with "Hi Galaxy". This means when i leave car this program continues to run. Wish i could disable voice talk or voice command without having to root.
These are only minor gripes as overall the phone is excellent, my GPS works great, camera really good, call quality brilliant, latest upgrade gives me 2 days battery life and the screen is just superb. I have it on a two year contract and for first time in a long time i have a phone that i think would be genuinely hard to better.
