Any Motion users try Qualcomm's Snapdragon battery saver app?

Just read about this from an article. Registers as compatible with my Motion (i.e., it only works with phones with Snapdragon processors onboard) and reviews look pretty solid/interesting. Anybody actually tried it? It has a 2-4 day "learning period" where it apparently learns your phone usage style.

Qualcomm's Snapdragon BatteryGuru (beta)

Not currently using any battery saver apps, but thinking about this one.

Nice find seems very interesting:rolleyes:

Hi, all. Thanks for the replies. Yeah, I know that any of these juice savers produce a sort of "placebo effect", but I always reserve judgment and ask, "What if...?" :-)

The battery saver app I've had some success with has been Deep Sleep Battery Saver, but I recently un installed it to test some other stuff. Looking forward to giving the Qualcomm app a try.

For those of you already in the 'learning phase', please keep the rest of us posted!

Gonna give it a shot. At least it seems to make sense in what they say it offers and how it works. In a coupla days I'll know for sure.

Wow... All abooooard! Installed here, too. Now in learning phase. Be advised that from some of the reviews, it's obvious that this app might actually use MORE battery than usual since it attempts to test all sorts of wakelock combinations.

The consensus seems to be that one has to get through the learning period to reap any potential benefits. I'm onboard.

I've never really messed with those battery saver apps. I would think they would just use more battery sitting in the background all the time. But I'll give this one a try, thanks.

Now lets see results

I really don't like the fact I have to keep location on with this all the time. That drains my battery quite a bit.
