That would be cool! It is an interesting angle though and I'd have to start wondering why Google Bought Motorola instead of buying ASUS
I think 'the point' of the Nexus line, so far, is to offer a different line of all unique models rather than the re-produced lines that are already on the market. One could argue whether or not the Padfone is in fact established based on its capricious release, however I don't know if I can see Google adopting in a previously released fone line at all.
It is really an interesting idea though, and you know we'd love to see the Padfone 2 get some direct Google support.
As far as Sprint getting the Padfone 2, It is still
firmly in the 'no chance' camp even though I have been pining for it, for going on a year.
(FCC docs with some radio&antennae listed would be mighty helpful)
