Any new phones

This might have been asked but I wanted to know is there any other new phones coming out for MetroPcs yet. I heard there suppose to be 2 more but I don't see pics of it I want it to be better then the LG Esteem?

For a phone better then the esteem you might have to wait till the a
Summer or next winter. They have the connect commingle out but I wouldn't consider it better.
 
The only thing better is its a dual core that's it no hdmi or custom roms lg esteem is way better that's what i think
 
Yea the only three things about the Connect that may be better than the Esteem are the dual core processor, extra 512 MB of RAM, and improved color. Downside as budde stated is no ROMs or dev support, so probably no root or customization for at least a few months. This is the primary reason I'm buying an Esteem.

Back to your original question, the Connect 4G and Samsung Galaxy Attain are both coming sometime next month. The Attain will be more of a mid-range phone compared to the Esteem/Connect. No pricing on either of them.

The fact that it's $299 off the starting line has me wondering what price tag the Connect will have on it. I wouldn't be surprised if it's marked up at $399
 
^^:rolleyes:^^ I just saw it was $199 after rebate.hhmmm who do u think will buy that $300 phone?? I had indulge for only couple days but the battery was about two-three time drains faster than esteem. Average it was about 5-6 hours with very light used. (indulge)

This whole thread, i would recommend the esteem, the top dog of all metro phones, and also the attain is $199, it was a price typo on there page but it's fix now. ;)

It is weird...:confused:, right now at 10:21 am est time, I put it in the cart, sign in, check out..all of them showed $199 after rebate

HDMI out is done through the USB port on a lot of phones now. The Connect also has 2x the ram, which will be very nice to have if ICS gets ported to it. And no new phone has custom roms right away, they have to get rooted and CWM ported first.
 
And a new blackberry is coming out this spring. I believe it might be blackberry style from sprint or the bold 8900 series. I'm actually not surprised that metro keeps coming out with a blackberry knowing they're going downhill but there's people out there who still love em and will buy em. And I'm definitely not surprised that they're getting the older models too. We'll see what happens :)
