Any non-rooted Dinc owners receive OTA update?

So.. wait.. there IS an upgrade? Can he pull it off his system for us? (I have seen somebody able to do it from an evo.
I have been following this over at XDA as well. I saw he accidently updated, what does that do to his Super User (Ninja), Busybox, WifiTether, and all apps requiring root? Are these privelidges maintained or are the apps useless and recovery flash gone? I am a bit confused if these apps can be removed after that, I understand he looses root, but can these apps be removed and all be well until root is achieved again?

Most updates do kill root, so don't update until a rooted patch is released.

Be careful what u wish for. My friend, who was bragging about his front facing camera (told him to take a pic of his "stupid-lost-call-face" each time he drops), bricked (BRICKED!) his evo this morning accidently updating twice. Thank you verizon.

A Verizon rep told me a few days ago that an update was on the horizon that would deal with the signal and audio issues.

If you can rem , someone at phandroid got the lone ms exchange/sever update several days before the rest of us.
while not many have reported getting update yet , and the droid inc root earlier fiasco might come to mind, i am gonna give the guy the benefit of doubt on this update.

Hasn't Steven been saying for awhile that HTC is working on an OTA to deal with signal issues and the like? Wonder if this is it.
I'm not rooted and I haven't seen any updates yet.

I keep hearing that there's an OTA being rolled out for the Incredible, but I can't seem to find any information about it. Does anyone have any info?

where are you hearing about this OTA? I have not heard anything about an update. The EVO got a minor update, nexus one's are getting final builds of Froyo, but nothing for the incredible.
