Any reason why I should get the S4 over the G pro?

Gon pro tomorrow.na go scheck out the G Pro tomorrow. Lg has come a long way. They even make the new Google phones.I like the bigger screen and the larger batter over the S4. The proccessor is 1.7 over the 1.6 over the S4 as well. I like the G Pro a lot. I know the S4 can transfer files just holding them together. Think most people will like the S4 because of the name. Give me 3 reasons why the S4 is better and I might change my mind. Otherwise I think I will get the G Pro
 
Both would be good devices.

The S4 has all the new features implemented into Touchwiz and probably a better development community over the LG.
The Galaxy S4's display is better than the LG. (441ppi vs 440ppi but the Galaxy S4 has AMOLED over LG's LCD display).
The Galaxy S4 has the faster processor both in the US Variant and International (using just numbers): The US is 1.9GHz Quad and the International is a 1.6GHz Octa compared to the LG's 1.7GHz quad.
As you mentioned, the LG's battery is larger.

Its Samsung's latest offering, but they are by no means the only manufacturer.

Many reviewers have scored the HTC one higher


In the end, use whatever you like. I'm typing this from an s3, but after owning it I won't go with Samsungs galaxy line for my next device
 
Ya. I'm typing from a Samsung galaxy 2. Been nothing but problems. I've read up on the s4 and g pro so much. The only thing the s4 wins over the g pro is more remote control options for my TV.LOL.
LG makes the Google phone. The nexus 4 turned out great.
 
If 5.5 is perfect, maybe look at the Note 2?
Most of the Galaxy S4 features will be ported to the Galaxy Note 2 and the Galaxy S3.

But if not, go with the Optimus! :)
We can only give you facts and numbers. Choose the one that feels right to you :D
 
Went to pick up my s4 yesterday. But i had to check out the g pro. Tested them both side by side. No comparison. The g pro was way faster, screen was better, pictures were more realistic, and the sound was better. Even the girl at the att store was blown away. Love the larger screen too. Thanks lg. Im done with samsung.
 
the better comparison is the note 2 or upcoming note 3 due to the size.

comparing display models is futile considering all the crap that's been done to them. plus they have pretty much the same processor.

the battery life on the optimus is rumored to be only so-so compared to excellent battery life reviews for the note 2.

optimus isn't on verizon so not even in the discussion for some.

congrats on your phablet.

Not trying to nit pick your post, but (IMO) many ATT folk hardly know all too much about the various Android phones. I went in about a month ago and asked just out of curiosity whether they will ever carry the Nexus line of phones... The guy said "huh? Which phone is that? Who makes it?"
I explained what little I, myself, knew and he brushed it off with "no we don't have that phone"
I was a little peeved, because I knew they didn't have it, I asked if, in the future, would they carry that phone.
But after perusing these forums some more, it seems nobody gets the Nexus, you must go through Google land (i think? :p)
