Any regrets?

Just wondering if anyone has any regrets buying the Note 2? Anything how minor/small would be appreciated. Anything bugging you? I am about to ditch my phone for this one and was just wondering if there is anything I should consider before I make the jump.....thanks.

Absolutely no regrets whatsoever. Amazing phone in every way.

No. None.

It's the best mobile device... possibly the best overall device that I have ever had the supreme pleasure of owning.

my only regret is that it didnt come out sooner! Its fast smooth and the spen is ten times better and useful thab the previous version! Go for it best phone ive used so far!

Nope. Changed over from iphone 4. Love this thing

I regret trading my iphone5 in for this thing. ...

....NOT. I would never buy another Apple product. This is the best phone I ever had, though I learned to expect that from each new generation of the Galaxy devices. No regrets at all.

Lol, same here, this phone is really ticking all the boxes for me, I haven't set it up to my liking yet, but its getting there and I'm really finding it hard to find fault with it.

I went from iphone 4s > galaxy s2 > note/iphone 4s mix > galaxy s3 > Note 2.
I've only had this phone for a day but so far it is my favorite by far. Blows the iphones away.

My wife thought I am nut when I preordered mine, she said it's way too big to be used as a phone. But when I have it, she tried it a couple hours, now she want to trade her iphone 5 for my note 2.

My answer is absolutely NO, I told her to dump her ip5 on eBay and get your own note 2, because I just cannot live with that inferior apple thingy anymore.

that is great you all love your SGN2... but from what i seen so far on this thread... mostly moved from a sammy or apple device to SGN2.

i love the htc sense...
i would like to hear from those that moved from a Sense UI to the SGN2 touchwiz.
are there any small features that you miss?

one feature I sure hope that the new touchwiz has...
i can set the phone to lock after a period of time in sleep mode.
after a set time in sleep (1, 5, 10, or 15 mins)..the phone will require i input a passcode to unlock it. this is great if you are having a text conversation and dont have to unlock everytime to answer.

past touchwiz did not have this feature.

I have used a bunch of other devices in the past. I have used the nexus one, og evo, lg Optimus 2x, Motorola photon, evo 3d and evo lte. Been around the block several times. I do like some features from sense, mostly the lock you mentioned though I don't see that in the newest touchwiz, however I still feel the small things Samsung included in touchwiz to me are more important. Auto block, swipe left/right to call/text to name just a couple. Plus I like the better. But the G-Note 2 had so many other features and options that really set this device apart from the rest. Many options may never get used by most, but it seems that Samsung is really trying to seperate themselves from the competition. Having used so many devices in the past, yes, including the iphones, I have to say that the G-Note 2 is in my opinion the best.

I absolutely *LOVE* it compared to my Note 1, but... I really REALLY miss the "News & Weather" app that was stock on the Note 1. I haven't been able to find an equivalent news aggregator app for the Note 2.

@wangta did you jump ship and got the phone on a different carrier other than Verizon?

Yeah I did...for now. My situation is a little complicated as I have free service via my old employer (long story) that should last through my contract (that could be 3 months or 12 months+). Once that runs out, I'll probably end up selling this ATT Note 2 and switching over to Verizon as coverage is generally better.

Only regret is the cost....... BUT, that's what you have to trade for greatness...:D

I really can't find a problem with the GN2......

Lateck,

Having come from the Note 1, I have no regrets. It is the ultimate on the go device and the speed is amazing.

Like other people have stated, I couldn't go back to a device with a smaller screen. I love the S-pen functionality and I'm over the moon that I managed to get my phone (LTE version) for a decent price - 18 month contract total price

My only regret is not being able to pay much attention to my girlfriend since I picked up this amazing piece of technology... I can't put this thing down, at all. Good thing is she loves the awesome camera and I make up for it by taking cute pics of her and using the s-pen to tag or draw stuff on them.

Absolutely no regrets. This blows the GS3 away.

...well, not blows it away...the GS3 was a great phone in its own right.

One major regret is getting the phone when I was trying to be really productive in the yard this weekend. Haven't put the phone down long enough to do anything! :D
