My HBOOT is 0.87.0001... Software is 2.06.832.1.
Same problem as everyone else. unrevoked3 works happily for a while, then stops with "Validation error: Backup CID is missing". No superuser
My phone's erase size is 20,000 if that matters.
This is an unbranded, unlocked Desire. I reformatted the SD card and factory reset the phone, then ran through basic setup, before beginning.
I don't really use Twitter any more either, but will try if there's still no fix.
