Root Any ROM recommendations??

Rubix focused...amazing speed, stability and battery life! OC app is sweet too!

ya know... i was going to go with this, but i have recently found out it doesn't have the sms bug 'fix' integrated. there's even been reports of it happening:

just something to make note of. personally, i have some contacts that i cannot afford to let this even remotely happen to

ROM Review that link has a pretty good review of the roms but after doing all my researching and trying out 9+ roms I decided to go with RubiX Blurry2.0.. it has the stock apps (specially the smart dialer!) that lots of the other roms (with exception of Apex 1.4.1 and maybe one or 2 more) but its quick.. i believe benchmark was about 1360 after first install. with tweaks and all it became 1567 (which includes overclocking, etc).

Liberty 2.0.1 has been working very well for me with only a few minor issues. It seems to have great battery life (like Rubix or the older Apex). It seems stable and fast.

The only real issue I have is when pressing the search button to do a voice search, I get an FC but it might be a theming problem or something not related to the ROM.

I have tried many and kept going back to Liberty.

When there is a GB liberty build I just might wet myself... Thought I really am dying for CM.

DarkSlide 4.2 for me. Others mainly killed my battery like crazy. I seem to get best battery life with DarkSlide and it looks cool as well :)

Why couldnt there just have been one dominant ROM that overshadowed the others in every possible way...or atleast 2 that were equal, instead of there being like 6 that are pretty well known and well developed

I would say because there is not enough different things that can be tweaked in the different ROM's to really make any of them stick out more than the rest. It mainly comes down to what you want stripped out or added or at least this is the way I see it.
